Annex 1 : Prerequisites & competence
Prerequisites:
- Secondary education
- 4 years professional experience (2 of which in quality management systems)
- 35 ISO 9001 audit days in a minimum of 7 different organisations over the past 3 years
- Successful participation in a recognised 40h Lead auditor course
Competences:
- In depth knowledge of the ISO 9001 and ISO 19011 standard
- According to ISO 19011:2002 (Chapter 7)
- Understanding and application of the quality principles
- Ability to produce verifiable and factual reports
- Demonstrated communication skills between auditors and other parties
